Company Background
Nigerian Sino Trucks Limited is a company incorporated on May 2, 2012 and owned fully by Nigerians. We are a Federal Government-recognized manufacturer/assembler of vehicles in Nigeria. We are also Authorised Distributor of Sinotruk Import and Export Company Limited – the international trading subsidiary of Sinotruk (Hong Kong) Limited – a company owned by the China National Heavy Duty Truck Group Corp. Limited, who are the manufacturers of SINOTRUK brands of trucks.
The China National Heavy Duty Truck Group Corp. Limited, is China’s first Heavy duty truck manufacturer, founded in 1956 and they are the cradle of China’s heavy truck industry.
Federal Government Recognised Manufacturer/Assembler of vehicles in Nigeria.
On January 29 2015, the Federal Government of Nigeria granted us the status of a Manufacturer/ Assembler of vehicles in Nigeria. We achieved this status after meeting all the requirements of the newly introduced Automotive Industry Fiscal policy Measures of February 28, 2014.
With this status, we are allowed to import completely knocked down (CKD) and Semi Knocked down (SKD) I and II in line with the policy.
